Increase Website Traffic?

Simple list of SEO tips and web traffic tactics to help get more traffic.

John Mignano

What does that mean? More backlinks to your website with some quick and easy to follow steps.

Allow me to explain…

You don’t have to do this alone anymore!

I feel you, I really do.

You’re out there on your own, trying to grow, investing your money in website, SEO, traffic, marketing, pouring time into your business, and let’s face it sweating it out while you do so.

Is your latest Facebook ad going to work?

Is anyone going to click through to your landing page?

Are they going to opt-in? And most importantly …

Are they going to buy?

Or will you hear crickets?

If you’ll stick with me for just a few moments I’ll show you how you can finally come out of marketing isolation and get the one factor you’ve been missing to grow your business.

It’s scary out there, I know…

After all, it’s not just time, money and a lot of work you’re putting into this business.

If you’re like most business owners, you’re actually counting on income you earn from all of this effort to feed your family.

So it’s imperative you do produce a measurable return on investment (ROI).

Up until now there’s been no way for you to check up on your marketing…

And that’s via your offer…

Yes, your overall marketing strategy before you press “go” button.

You have been left stranded to guess, pray and hope your marketing will work.

OR…

You’ve been given pricey option of hiring consultants for either group coaching or pricier one-on-one consulting.

Neither of those options provide true economic resources you need on a daily basis.

You need proven headlines, subject lines, ad copy and all of the real life direct response marketing for your website to deliver profitable results.

You want better copy on your website…

You need stronger offers on your landing pages…

You need irresistible copy in your direct mail…

You Need Your WEBSITE to WORK!

Many people feel a good website is all you need to get tons of visitors.

Getting quality targeted traffic to your site is getting much more difficult.

It takes diligent research and is not accomplished overnight.

Think about it this way…

How are people supposed to know where to find your site if you don’t tell them?

You must advertise, (use display advertising) plain and simple!

Here are proven ways to advertise your site without spending a ton of money:

The order doesn’t matter or how you site gets traffic, the only strategy that is missing is taking action…

No action means absolutely…no affect on your rankings or traffic volume.

Remember the smarter to get at SEO the more quality traffic you get.

As you submit to more sites by using the different SEO tactics for links and traffic building the better your ROI.

Usenet Groups:

Subscribe to the Usenet groups and advertise there. A good place to start is Google Groups…

  • Submit your site in appropriate groups
  • Sign up with a backup email or you’ll get onto every spammers database
  • Don’t SPAM — only submit a write up of your site once to any given group.

Directory Submissions:

Submit your site to as many privately run Link Directories/Search Engines as you can find.

These will not generally boost your traffic in any major way but will help to maintain steady stream of qualified visitors.

Text Advertising / Contextual Links:

Text links and advertising is very effective; it costs to get your advertisement put on any site so this is something you’ll need to set a budget for.

Banner Advertising:

Fixed banner advertising is always a good form of advertising as well as text links. Use Banners after you have optimized your campaigns.

You want to know conversion rates for CPM.

Use banners only on sites in same niche as you would with directories and link exchanges.

Social Networks:

Social networking such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and mega blogging sites (give information, not used to advertise your site/company.)

Reciprocal Linking:

Reciprocal linking is a good deal, you need to be careful with link partners as some will remove your link after a couple of weeks once you forget about it.

Why? Because of selfish reasons I’d suggest using a link manager for all link exchanges just to be safe as these will check your reciprocal links for you.

Three way link exchanges are similar to reciprocal linking, use between three sites not just you and another.

Basically site A links to site B, site B links to site C and site C links to site A as this form of link building compliments your SEO campaign as well.

Banner exchange programs:

As good as free advertising, right? Plus, you’re spreading your brand all over the place on other sites signed up to the same banner exchange programs.

Pay per click:

Pay per click is as the name says, you pay each time someone clicks a link to your site on search engines and/or on other sites in sponsored link sections.

Affiliate Marketing Programs:

Affiliate marketing can be set as pay per click, pay per lead, pay per sale or pay per customer acquired…

Generally works the same as any other pay per click program.

Email Marketing:

Email marketing is very cost effective as you can use it 24/7. In fact, send out information about special offers and new products etc…

You don’t have to over use this sending out too many emails all the time.

Reviews:

Ask users/customers to write a review for you, be it short or long it’s still a review that helps build quality and unique content.

Also show new visitors that your current client base likes how you run.

Do the odd review about your own company to get things started!

Most if not all sites have done this and will more than likely keep doing, just make sure all reviews are based on customer experiences which add value!

Create your own RSS feeds or Atoms:

These are a great way to offer visitors the option to sign up to your sites news and/or update depending on how you set it up and what type of site you run.

The most important factor is you want to offer good quality, highly focused content on your website for your visitors to want to come back.

Keep using your content for search engines bots to crawl your site, always worthy of the top listings, right?

Simply follow the simple steps for your on-site SEO tactics to keep your site fresh and up-to-date.

If you want repeat visitors that keep coming back to your site time after time, you want to keep focused on adding value with relevant up-to-date info.

You can easily outsource article writing or get content written for about $9 each (based on 500 works per article and a minimum 10 article.)

That’s $50 for 10 articles (how long would it take you to write 10 articles?)

Use on-site videos as well as on others sites like YouTube. Everyone likes to watch a video now and then because it’s entertaining and time effecient.

Easier then reading all the time…

One factor you will want to remember is not to set your video on auto play as this can annoy some people.

Dominate Search Engines?

Want Page #1 ranking? Maybe Google SEO got it wrong, so here’s how you can make it right…

John Mignano

If you want your site to rank high in search engines follow the guidelines and make sure your site has all the SEO on-page factors…

Why? Because you’ll be leaving money on the table and fighting for scraps!

Short & sweet…simply implement the thirteen web crawler on-page factors with suggested optimization for your list of search engines.

These are for internet search engines, critical for the success of your blogs or websites.

1. Keyword in domain:

The most critical factor in getting the sites ranked in competitive niches is having the keyword in the domain name.

Most of the times in less competitive niches you can rank well easily if you use main keyword in your domain, even if you have very low content.

Try not to use hyphens in domain…just main keyword followed by a call to action.

For example:

If main keyword is fat loss use – FatLossClickHere.com or FatLossNow.com

2. Keyword in title:

This is one of the most critical on page factors.

Including the keyword in the title is the primary on page factors.

Almost every search engine JS insane amount of importance to this so make sure that you include your main keyword in your title tag.

3. Keyword in description:

The description should include your keyword.

Simply include the keyword followed by a hyphen and include description.

Squeeze in your keyword twice if possible…

4. Keyword density:

Keyword density should be between 5 to 20%.

It depends from niche niche but in most niches 5 to 20% is acceptable.

Anything over 20% and your sites will never rank in the search engines.
Search engines today are smart, they know what you are up to:)

5. Main keyword density:

1% in top third of the page as this is a factor that most people miss out.

Make sure that the keyword is included at least one percent in the top third of your article.

Simple formula, don’t over-complicate this…if you article is hundred words with three paragraphs, your keyword appears at least once in first paragraph.

6. At least one heading in the page:

You want one heading in your article. Make sure you include your Main title in the H1 tag to solve the problem.

This is an easy, yet often overlooked factor of on-page optimization.

7. Total number of words in the article greater than 500:

Your articles use at least 500 words for maximum search engine benefits.

Most people think 250 word articles are enough, yet for maximum search engine optimisation benefits you need an article that has at least 500 words.

8. Number of words in description should be greater than 20:

Most people have never heard of this factor, your descriptions works best using more than 20 words.

Keep this in mind because even this is a factor that gets you ranked high in the search engines.

9. Include an image:

Image search engines, especially Google just loves social media.

If you include videos, images, audio etc… Google will love you too:)

Simply including an image is the easiest, at least one with each article to get more Google LOVE.

10. Alt tag of the image:

Including your keyword in the alt tags of your image is crucial.

Never be overlooked or your competitors will get the punch.

Most people never think of this factor to boost search engine rankings, be sure to include an image with keyword as the alternate text.

It is a way of telling Google that the image that you have included on your page is relevant to the search query.

11. Internal link structure:

Your internal pages should link to each other. Squeeze on at least two links in the article body to other pages on my blog/website.

You can use WordPress plug-ins for this like KB linker.

12. External links:

You want to include links to high PR websites on your blog.

Submit links to Wikipedia pages that’s related to your niche in footer and Copyscape. Include links to high PR websites in your article body.

13. Number of tags:

The number of tags should be greater than five.

If you get this correct and build high PR back links with little variation in the anchor text then you can rank really well in the search engines…
